Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to Tint Xtreme website use, quote requests, accepted offers, appointments and vehicle services. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
1. Contact and scope
Tint Xtreme operates from Unit 8 Glenmore Business Park, Swindon, SN5 7FP. Contact us at info@tintxtreme.co.uk or 07301 275041. Service-specific details in an accepted written offer form part of the agreement.
2. Quote requests and offers
An online request is an invitation for us to assess the work; it is not a confirmed price or appointment. A contract is formed only when you accept our final offer and we confirm the booking or begin the agreed work. Quotations are based on the information supplied and may change if the vehicle, condition or requested scope is materially different.
3. Bookings, prices and payment
The accepted offer states the included services, price, location and validity period. Any deposit, balance, payment method or cancellation condition will be shown before you confirm. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due by the stated deadline and the vehicle may be retained until sums properly due are paid.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Contact us promptly if you need to change an appointment. Any cancellation charge or treatment of a deposit must have been disclosed before booking and will be proportionate to the circumstances and work already committed. Where a statutory cancellation right applies to a distance contract, we will honour it. If you ask us to begin within that period, you may have to pay for work properly supplied before cancellation.
5. Your vehicle and information
You must own the vehicle or have authority for the work, give accurate information, disclose relevant faults, modifications, previous repairs, weak paint, existing film or wiring, and remove valuables. We may pause the job if an undisclosed condition affects safety, compatibility, time, price or the expected result. We will ask for approval before carrying out additional chargeable work.
6. Service-specific considerations
Window tint must remain within applicable UK road-use requirements. Wrap results depend on the condition of the surface beneath it, and removal can expose weak or previously repaired paint. Camera, electronics and key work depend on vehicle compatibility and existing equipment. Security-sensitive key work requires satisfactory proof of identity and authority.
7. Timing, collection and aftercare
Completion times are estimates unless a fixed deadline is expressly agreed. We will tell you about a material delay. Please collect the vehicle when agreed and follow the aftercare instructions provided. Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, unsuitable cleaning or unauthorised alteration is not a defect in our service.
8. Quality and problems
We will perform services with reasonable care and skill and supply goods as required by law. If you believe there is a problem, contact us promptly, avoid making it worse and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect it. Available remedies depend on the circumstances and may include repeat performance, repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.
9. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or breach of statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss caused by inaccurate information, an undisclosed defect or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Accounts, files and website use
Keep passwords and secure links confidential. Upload only relevant files you have the right to provide, and do not submit malware, unlawful content or unnecessary confidential information. You must not bypass security, impersonate another person, access another customer’s information or interfere with the website. Uploaded content is used to assess and provide the service; it is not permission for public marketing.
11. Complaints and law
Send a complaint with your name, registration, reference and useful evidence to info@tintxtreme.co.uk. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, while consumers retain any mandatory rights that apply where they live.
